Required knowledge, skills and experience:
- Exceptional understanding and proven hands-on development experience with TCP/IP and routing/bridging protocols
- Experience with RIPv2, OSPF, MIPv4/v6, PGM
- Experience with VLAN, GRE, IP-IP, MPLS
- Hands-on experience with network processors
- Ability to architect the networking software for line rate performance
- Exceptional with C/C++, OOD, OOP and RTOS, preferably Linux
- Design and development of high availability software
Candidate should have the ability to lead a team of competent software engineers. Candidate must have proven track record of technical leadership, experience with complete software product life cycle and release management and a minimum of 7 years of progressive software architecture and design experience.
